As a Support Engineer/Project Engineer, you will be the supporting strength for their projects and project leaders in the installation of new lifts.

A brief insight on your responsibilities:

• Support the project leaders administratively and technically.
• Assisting with the organisation of construction sites (transport, communication with subcontractors, etc.).
• If necessary, measuring lift shafts.
• Arranging the planning of projects and analysing any risks.
• Taking care of the material preparation of projects after handover from the seller and following up orders so that they are delivered on time.
• Administrative processing of files.
• Working out technical solutions to recurring problems and supporting or setting up global improvement projects.
• You maintain good internal contacts with the various departments.
• The purchasing and logistics departments in particular are important partners for you.

Our client is a leading company operating in the lift sector.

They operate globally, but are looking for a Field Support Engineer/Project Engineer to strengthen their team in Belgium. In this position, you will mainly be engaged for the division responsible for lift installation and maintenance.

The company has also received ISO certification for environmentally friendly design (ISO 14006).

Who are we looking for for this Support Engineer/Project Engineer position?

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
• Organisational and administrative skills.
• You can communicate fluently and professionally in English.
• Knowledge of French, Dutch or Spanish is an asset.
• Experience in the lift sector is definitely an asset, if not we ask for experience in planning.
• A real team player with a positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of Inventor/Autocad is an asset.
• Driving licence B.
