In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• You will anage the entire process of assigned projects, studies and quotations, from customer inquiry to finalisation.
• You are the first point of contact for the customer and work closely with various departments to develop technical and financial proposals and keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• You coordinate a team of engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical and automation) involved in the project at the production site and at the customer.
• You report about the progress and coordinate the activities at the customer site, including the safety documents and coordination with subcontractors.

Our client provides its customers with state of the art intelligent machinery for the automotive industry and is leader in the development of advanced electrical, mechanical, and software solutions for end-of-line and propulsion test machinery. To strengthen their engineering team in Belgium they are looking for a Project Manager.

• A master’s degree in electromechanics, no experience required
• Knowledge of automation / machine construction
• A commercial and customer-oriented attitude
• Fluent in at least two of the following languages: English, French, German
• Sociable en communicative
• Stress-resistant, good planner and organised and structured team leader
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• You pay attention to trends within the automotive industry
• Available for relocations abroad, with a target of 50% of the annual work time
• Willing to be permanently available for relocations of certain duration, with a target of a few days to maximum two weeks
