As a Quality Lab Engineer, you will ensure the quality of the production process by performing the required tests that comply with the applicable quality standards, the standards imposed by the customer as well as the internally applicable criteria.

More detailed tasks:

• You prepare the glass for the tests;
• You draw up a schematic overview/schedule of the lab tests to be carried out;
• You carry out the tests according to the corresponding specifications and requirements;
• You carry out annual product audits;
• You make analyses of the test results and report them with an accompanying recommendation on maintenance, calibration, cleaning and testing of the control equipment;
• You operate CMM programmes;
• You ensure that 5S standards are maintained in the lab;
• You always work in accordance with applicable quality, health and environmental procedures and policies.

Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, they would like to strengthen the team in their plant in the region of Evergem with a Quality Lab Engineer.

What are the requirements for the position as Quality Lab Engineer;

• You have a technical bachelor or master degree;
• You have at least 3 years of experience in quality in the glass or automotive industry;
• You have strong technical skills and are able to have an overview of all the projects;
• You are a teamplayer;
• You are flexible and do not have a 9 - 5 mentality;
• You are fluent in English.
