Key Account Manager

What will your duties as a Key Account Manager look like?

• You are in contact with an international customer portfolio, specifically with companies active in the food processing industry. 
• You map out their needs and expectations and provide tailor-made solutions together with your colleagues.
• Together with the internal sales and engineering departments, you make a accurate proposal based on the needs. 
• After preparing the quotations, you follow them up closely.
• You offer the necessary technical sales support for questions and always strive to provide a substantiated answer. 
• You will provide technical and commercial support during machine demonstrations at customers' locations or in your own demo center.
• For this Key Account Manager position, all communication is in Spanish and English.
• You negotiate with customers to finalize sales contracts. 
• Additionally, you attend international trade fairs as part of your job.
• You are constantly seeking new market insights and trends.
• You also inform R&D when discovering possible machine optimizations or developments in the market. 
• This position involves regular international travel.

For this Key Account Manager job, we are looking for someone with the following skills: 

• You have a very good command of Spanish and English, both written and oral. 
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or economic field. 
• If you do not have a technical education, you can compensate for this with relevant experience. 
• Experience in sales is an absolute must, more specifically in investment goods, technical sector/goods and this within a B2B environment. 
• Regular international travel is not a problem for you, both within and outside Europe (+/- 50 overnight stays per year).
• You are proactive, diplomatic, stress-resistant and accurate. 
• You are a good communicator and enjoy interacting with people.
