Automation Engineer

For the position as Automation Engineer:

• You are responsible for the electrical design and programming of the PLC machine controls where you will make the planning and installation schedules related to the automation of the machines
• You do the functional electrical final inspection before dispatching the machines to be installed
• You assist with the upgrades and service interventions of the machines at the customers' sites
• In collaboration with the suppliers and the procurement department, you specify the needed electrical components
• You travel internationally (to 30%)

• You have a master's degree in Electromechanics or a related field with a focus on automation/electrical systems
• You have a strong technical comprehension and excellent knowledge of PLC machinery control and programming with Siemens (Tiaportal, Step7) and Rockwell
• You can work with EPLAN
• You can visualize the process (SCADA/HMI)
• You design electrical control cabinets
• You know how to prioritize tasks
• You can work independently without compromising team spirit
• You possess a proactive personality with a sense of initiative and a customer-oriented/commercial mindset
• You have a good proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
