As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for processing the full accounts of your assigned company.

At their financial department in Belgium, they are responsible for accounting for the following countries; Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Luxembourg & Italy. You prepare monthly & annual financial closing, reconciliation of accounting & operational processes.

Together with controlling & local teams, you will follow up on all necessary matters.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell:

• You are responsible for balance sheet analysis & monthly reconciliation;
• Preparing monthly, quarterly & annual internal & group reporting;
• You will participate in the annual budgeting process;
• You will also participate in the annual external audit process.

For this position of GL Accountant, you recognise yourself in the profile below:

• You obtained a master's or bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, business administration or similar.
• Previous experience in finance, accounting and/or auditing is a plus.
• Knowledge of common accounting techniques.
• You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
• You possess a thorough knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• You are a critical, analytical and accurate person.
• You have strong communication skills.
