Tender Engineer

Function

• Compiling and preparing tender dossiers
• Developing a well-considered plan of approach linked to the correct cost price
• Gathering information from the specifications, post-calculation, subcontractors and suppliers
• Examining the financial feasibility of projects
• Contributing ideas on alternative proposals
• Determining the selling price together with the Director of the Tendering Department
• Preparing the final discussion with management
• Taking an active role in the file handover
• Maintaining an overview of cost price, measurement statements and opportunities in the file
• Calling on colleagues' expertise where necessary and continuing to expand your knowledge

Profile

• You hold a master's degree in a technical or construction-related field
• You are structured and analytically minded
• You see the bigger picture and can identify connections
• You communicate effectively and have commercial insight
• You work in a stress-resistant and result-oriented manner
• You meet deadlines without losing sight of the bigger picture
• You switch smoothly between content, consultation and follow-up
• You are willing to develop your knowledge further in tendering
• An interest in buildings, hydraulic engineering or civil works is an advantage
