Tender Engineer Large Projects
Function
How do you turn a technical file into a convincing tender plan?
- As Tender Engineer Large Projects, you provide direction to complex building projects for public and private clients even before the start. Your preparation forms the basis for a feasible, efficient and convincing execution.
- Together with the estimating team, you translate technical dossiers and specifications into concrete construction methods, execution plans and a well-substantiated tender document.
- You develop execution methods, schedules, phasing plans and manpower planning, tailored to the technical requirements, the project context and the client's expectations.
- You make equipment deployment, site layout, formwork methods and logistical scenarios concrete, so that ambitious plans remain workable on site.
- You translate technical choices into clear and compelling documents that make the approach, feasibility and added value of the proposal transparent.
- After contract award, you support the project and site teams with work plans, planning monitoring and further refinement of the execution methods.
- You actively monitor the transition from tender to execution: you ensure that decisions made are correctly handed over and, where necessary, adjusted based on the reality on site.
- Consultation with internal experts, project managers, clients and other parties involved helps you to detect risks early and start complex projects well-prepared. You work from Neder-over-Heembeek and are regularly present on construction sites across Flanders.
Profile
Do you bring structure to plans, methods and phasing, and do you know how to combine independent work with strong collaboration?
- You hold a master's degree in civil engineering.
- You have five to ten years of experience in site or project management within the construction of more complex projects.
- Experience with tenders, tender documents or method preparation is a strong asset, as it enables you to translate technical solutions into a compelling proposal more quickly.
- You work proficiently with MS Project and/or Primavera and are familiar with the principles of Lean planning. A structured approach helps you to connect planning, phasing, resources and risks.
- You analyse problems in a level-headed manner and take responsibility for decisions and results. Accuracy and organisational talent are important because your work has a direct impact on the feasibility of the project.
- You communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively without losing your independence. Dutch is the working language; a basic knowledge of French is an advantage.
