Are you looking for a challenging combination of account management and engineering? Our client is an international player specialising in sustainable cooling and heating solutions for food, pharmaceutical and sports accommodations, among others. For the Antwerp region, we are looking for a Technical Account Manager Service with strong technical baggage.

As Technical Account Manager Service, you are responsible for the development and management of customer relationships in the Benelux, focused on high-tech industrial projects. You are the technical and commercial point of contact for customers with high technical expectations. Thanks to your in-depth technical knowledge, you can give valuable advice, propose appropriate solutions and manage service contracts in detail. In consultation with specialised technical teams and suppliers, you ensure optimal service and follow-up.

Your duties will include:

• Preparation and implementation of technical account plans with clear objectives and technical forecasts
• Proactively maintain and build relationships with customers in sectors such as mechanical engineering, process industry, food production and pharma
• Analysing customer needs and contributing ideas for innovative, tailor-made (service) solutions
• Technical advice on tenders, contracts and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Coordinating installations, maintenance contracts and technical projects
• Organising and supervising technical presentations and after-sales
• Accurate recording of customer information and project data

Profile

For this vacancy, we are looking for a professional with a technical background who recognises himself in the profile below:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or industrial field (electromechanics, electronics, automation, mechanical engineering, industrial sciences, etc.), or equivalent practical experience with technical products in machine construction, production, engineering or maintenance
• At least initial experience in a technical-commercial, service-oriented or project-based work environment
• Experience in mechanical engineering, industrial plants, high-tech manufacturing, HVAC, refrigeration, or heating is a definite plus
• Persuasive communication skills (NL/ENG) and analytical insight
• Independent, solution-oriented and results-driven
• You can clearly translate complex technical issues into customer-oriented advice
• Willingness to travel regularly within Belgium and the Benelux countries
• Team player who is flexible and takes initiative
