Are you passionate about engineering and do you want to contribute to safety technology that protects and saves lives worldwide? Then this position as a Service Engineer Belux is tailor-made for you. After thorough training, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of various high-quality equipment, including breathing protection, testing equipment and high-pressure breathing air compressors.

Your duties include:

• Maintaining diving equipment for military and civilian applications.
• Maintaining drying cabinets and washing facilities for respiratory protection equipment according to ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
• Assembling and disassembling parts according to machine instructions.
• Installation and commissioning of high-pressure systems and accessories.
• Adjusting and checking components for optimal operation.
• Visiting customers in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Profile

Your profile:

We are looking for a driven Service Engineer with a technical background and several years of relevant work experience. Are you technically strong, communicatively skilled and a team player? Then you will fit in well with our team.

What we expect:

• Experience as a maintenance technician, ideally supported by a higher technical degree or equivalent experience.
• High-level technical skills and organisational understanding.
• Curiosity and a positive, solution-oriented work attitude.
• Fluent communication in Dutch with also knowledge of French and a good basic knowledge of English.
• Stress-resistant and punctual in a dynamic working environment.
• Willingness to serve customers in Belgium and Luxembourg region.

Our client is an international group headquartered in Germany. Based in Belgium in Flemish Brabant, they are active in sales, installation, maintenance and (customer) service of both medical technology and safety technology. For their safety technology department (respiratory protection, test equipment,...) they are currently looking for reinforcement for the service engineer team.
