B2B Relationship Manager
Function
As a B2B Relationship Manager, you are an important point of contact for business clients. You manage their insurance portfolio, answer their questions and ensure that their insurance needs are correctly followed up.
Your main responsibilities are:
- You manage and follow up on the insurance files of existing SME clients.
- You advise business owners on their insurance needs and contribute ideas towards suitable solutions.
- You answer client questions and build lasting client relationships.
- You analyse existing policies and identify where adjustments or optimisations are needed.
- You ensure the correct administrative follow-up of files.
- You work closely with colleagues and other teams within the office.
- You will have the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge and to manage files with increasing independence.
You do not need to actively seek out new clients yourself. The focus is on supporting and advising the existing clientele. Visiting clients is possible, but is not a compulsory part of the role: you can fulfil your role perfectly from the office.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone who has already built up solid initial experience within commercial insurance and is ready to take the next step.
- You have approximately 3 to 4 years of experience within insurance, preferably in the management of SME files.
- You have a good knowledge of BOAR insurance and are familiar with the needs of business clients.
- You are willing to further deepen your technical knowledge and learn new subject matter.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and put clients at ease in a professional manner.
- You work accurately, take responsibility, and follow up on files independently.
- You are collegial and enjoy working as part of a team.
- You are looking for a role in which you can grow professionally and potentially progress into a management role in the longer term.
Organisation
You will join an independent insurance brokerage that, from a strong regional foundation, guides private individuals, self-employed professionals, and businesses with their insurance needs. Over the years, the office has grown into an organisation of approximately 18 employees, spread across various teams for private clients, business clients, and claims management. Each team has its own team leader and works closely with the other departments.
The organisation combines a professional approach with an accessible, collegial atmosphere. You will work alongside a young team in a well-maintained and modern office environment. Investment is made in employees and their development, giving you the opportunity to take on increasingly complex files and to further build your expertise.
Offer
You will have the opportunity to join a stable organisation where you can further develop your experience and where opportunities for progression are open to discussion.
What can you expect?
- Gross salary: depending on your experience and expertise.
- Salary bonus: a bonus scheme of €300 gross per month.
- Insurance: a group insurance and hospitalisation insurance through AG Insurance.

- Extra leave: thanks to the arrangement regarding accrued overtime, you can, depending on your choice and performance, take extra days off or have the hours paid out at 150%.
- Working hours: a fixed schedule from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:30. On Fridays, the working day ends at 17:00.
- Working regime: full-time preferred, but other arrangements can be discussed.
- Working environment: you work from the office, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central.
- Team activities: after-work events, staff parties, and other activities, always on a voluntary basis.
You will also have the opportunity to further develop your client portfolio and technical expertise, with prospects for a next step within the organisation.
