Project manager civil engineering

Function

As a Project Manager at our specialised metal construction company based in Hoogstraten, ANT, BE, you are the connecting factor between engineering, people and results. You are responsible for the strategic and technical overview of projects within our engineering department and ensure that they are realised within time, budget and to the highest quality standards. You distribute projects to project leaders, supervise them where necessary and act as a point of contact for colleagues, customers and external stakeholders. With your technical expertise, leadership qualities and keen organisational skills, you monitor risks, solve challenges professionally and guarantee that both the process and the final product are of the highest quality. Through 3D reviews and precise checking of plans, you ensure that our projects are solid - whether they are bridges, railway infrastructure or utility buildings.

Profile

To be successful as a Project Manager within our team, we ask:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. construction, mechanical or industrial engineering) or relevant work experience.
• 0-3 years' experience in project management, preferably within engineering or construction sector.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effectively switching between various stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, problem-solving thinking and stress resistance.
• Knowledge of planning software and 3D modelling is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch, both oral and written.
