Product Manager
Function
As Product Manager you are responsible for the full lifecycle and strategy of electrical and mechanical components. You oversee technical suitability, availability, quality and cost efficiency.
- You develop a product strategy and translate the product roadmap into standardised and reusable components for various projects and product lines.
- You manage the product and component master data in the ERP system and ensure that purchasing, production and project teams have access to accurate information.
- For new projects you analyse product requirements and perform calculations on quantities, costs, selling prices, margins and stock.
- You monitor the reliability, performance and availability of components. Risks such as long lead times, obsolescence and dependency on a single supplier are addressed proactively.
- You are the technical point of contact for purchasing and negotiate with suppliers on specifications, prices, delivery terms and alternatives.
- You work closely with Engineering, purchasing, project teams, warehouse and management. You substantiate technical choices and thus help to increase the efficiency and predictability of projects.

For this role we are looking for an analytical and technically strong profile who enjoys taking responsibility and knows how to connect various stakeholders.
- You hold a master's degree, preferably in electromechanics, or a bachelor's degree supplemented by at least five years of relevant experience.
- You have a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical components. Experience in power supply, low-voltage installations or data centre infrastructure is a strong asset.
- You understand the impact of product and component choices on technical performance, cost price, availability, stock and maintenance.
- You work analytically and data-driven and can translate technical and financial information into well-founded decisions. Knowledge of Python or scripting is a welcome bonus.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English and know how to convey technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
- You take responsibility independently, work in a structured manner and enjoy contributing ideas on optimisation and standardisation.
