Test Engineer
Function
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join an innovative company specialising in energy management and data centre solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating electrical systems to ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard, safely and without any outstanding issues. You will work closely with the engineering, production and quality teams and actively contribute to the further optimisation of processes.
- Planning, carrying out and monitoring electrical tests, system validations, load and stress tests, and FAT and SAT tests.
- Drawing up test plans, procedures and reports.
- Analysing and resolving problems through root cause analyses, in collaboration with various internal teams.
- Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of test processes.
- Training customers on validated systems.
You will be working on a wide range of installations, including transformers, electrical distribution systems, power racks, cooling systems and security systems.
Profile
Our client is looking for a technical professional with an eye for quality, who is driven to make an impact. Their ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field (electromechanics or engineering).
- Ideally, 3 to 5 years’ experience in testing, validation, automation and troubleshooting. A motivated graduate with a master’s degree is also eligible.
- Strong analytical skills and a quality-focused, meticulous approach.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and quality assurance.
- A basic knowledge of Python or another scripting language is an advantage.
- A good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
Organisation
Our client specialises in energy management solutions (low-voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular data centres. They provide engineering solutions, primarily for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and utilities, where they have extensive expertise in the bespoke development of voltage converters and emergency power generators. As a centre of expertise, they offer bespoke solutions that are developed and manufactured in collaboration with the client. They have their own production facilities and currently employ more than 70 staff. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Test Engineer.
