Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinate and successfully complete technical projects within the organisation.
• Manage customer relationships and act as 'single point of contact' between customer and internal departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Service.
• Leading a multidisciplinary project team to deliver projects within quality, time and budget.
• Technical evaluation of project bids and supervision of the entire project process: from contract evaluation, engineering, procurement, production, installation, to delivery and aftercare.
• Optimising budget management and planning.
• Ensuring that projects meet standards and client requirements.

Profile

What we are looking for:

• Higher degree in Electromechanics or equivalent, preferably a master's degree in Engineering (industrial or civil engineer focusing on electricity, electronics, industrial design or equivalent).
• Over 10 years of experience in leading client-focused projects in an industrial, international and multicultural environment.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies. Certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are a definite plus.
• Strong understanding of technical systems (mechanical, electrical and/or control systems) with a proactive approach to continuous learning and design challenge.
• Experience in budget management, forecasting and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus, including exposure to C-level stakeholders.
• A problem-solving attitude: autonomous, proactive and hands-on.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
• Willing to travel (about 10% of time).

Organisation

Our client specialises in power management solutions (low voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular data centres. They provide engineering solutions, mainly for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and utilities in which they have extensive expertise in custom development of voltage converters and emergency power groups. As a centre of excellence, they offer customised solutions that are developed and manufactured together with the customer. They have their own production and currently operate with over 70 employees. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Project Manager to manage the projects.
