Product Manager

Function

As a Product Manager, you are the technical linchpin within your product range. You work closely with sales, engineering, assembly and customers, and translate technical challenges into concrete product and system solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• Management and further development of the product range comprising valves, air vents, automation and smart applications.
• Technical support for account managers, clients and internal teams.
• Analysing and sizing solutions based on pressure, temperature, flow rate and pipework characteristics.
• Technical monitoring of projects, product acceptance tests, certificates and documentation.
• Supporting assembly and testing, and optimising procedures and working methods.
• To continue developing and expanding automated and smart product solutions.
• Contributing ideas on innovation and the further development of the product range.

You combine technical expertise with a practical approach and are able to explain complex technical information clearly to clients and colleagues.

Profile

We are looking for a technically skilled professional with 3 to 5 years’ experience in product management, engineering, technical support, automation or process control.

• A Master’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably electromechanics or mechanics.
• Knowledge of liquid and gas flows, pipework systems and technical installations.
• An interest in valves, actuators and automation.
• You can analyse technical parameters and translate them into a suitable solution.
• Independent, meticulous and organised.
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
• Experience in a commercial B2B environment would be an advantage.

From its base in Belgium, the organisation provides technical solutions primarily to utility companies. In addition, they operate in the field of fire protection and various industrial sectors, including the brewing and pharmaceutical industries.
