Experienced Robotics Project Engineer

Function

As Senior Project Engineer, you are responsible for the technical development and follow-up of projects within industrial automation and warehouse technology. You combine in-depth engineering with consultation and coordination between various project partners.

• You are the technical point of contact for assigned projects and translate project requirements into feasible and safe solutions.
• You analyse technical information and develop or review calculations, drawings, material specifications and project documentation.
• You safeguard technical quality and ensure that designs meet the requirements, planning and available resources.
• You determine the engineering capacity required and support colleagues in the development and review of technical documents.
• You align with project managers, engineers, suppliers and other involved parties to resolve technical bottlenecks.
• You participate in technical meetings and carry out site visits and on-site inspections when necessary.
• You monitor the technical realisation and support execution when steering or additional expertise is required.
• You source suitable suppliers for materials and technical support, taking into account the predefined project budgets.
• You maintain professional contacts with clients and partners and ensure clear follow-up of technical queries.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced engineer who combines technical depth with a structured approach and strong collaborative skills. You take ownership of your projects and know how to translate technical information into practical solutions.

• You hold a master's degree in a technical field, such as electromechanics, industrial design or a related programme.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering, technical design or a similar role.
• You have an understanding of stability and strength calculations and understand the influence of material choices and constructions on industrial installations.
• You are able to analyse, review and clearly explain technical documents and data.
• You work proficiently with MS Office, particularly Excel.
• You communicate professionally in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
• You are precise, take initiative and can set priorities when projects change or multiple deadlines coincide.
• You enjoy working together with various technical disciplines and are willing to travel internationally when projects require it.
