Solution Manager
Function
As solution manager, you will support the sales team of the power solutions department with your technical expertise.
You will be responsible for the following range of tasks:
- Developing complex product designs and preparing quotations in close cooperation with Inside Sales.
- Complete follow-up of quotations, from start to completion.
- Defending technical aspects of quotations during client meetings when necessary.
- Creating strong sales arguments, documentation and price lists to support the sales team and achieve goals together.
- Setting and monitoring pricing and margin policies.
- Preparing and implementing an effective product marketing plan.
- Continuously monitoring the market, actively looking for new products and opportunities.
- Tracking market innovations and translating these innovations into existing products and solutions.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns; determine content and actively participate in trade fairs, seminars, training courses and promotional activities.
Profile
The ideal candidate will largely possess the following:
- Possess a degree in industrial engineering in electricity, electronics or electromechanics, or you have extensive experience as a bachelor in electrical engineering within an industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of low-voltage systems (both DC, AC and transformers) or you are motivated to master this quickly.
- Modern energy technologies are familiar to you.
- You have social skills and a commercial attitude.
- You think in solutions and are innovative in your approach.
- Continuous learning and self-development is essential to you.
- You take responsibility and show ownership in your work.
- Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
Organisation
Our client specialises in power management solutions (low voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular data centres. They provide engineering solutions, mainly for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and utilities in which they have extensive expertise in custom development of voltage converters and emergency power groups. As a centre of excellence, they offer customised solutions that are developed and manufactured together with the customer. They have their own production and currently operate with more than 70 employees.
Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Solution Manager for the power solutions department.

This position offers an attractive compensation and benefits package, including:
- A monthly salary ranging between €4500 - 5000, depending on experience.
- A complete package including company car (electric) with charging pass.

- Gliding working hours and working from home (1 day per week) are included.
- 6 ADV days on top of your statutory leave and always off between Christmas and New Year.
