PLC Programmer
Function
As a PLC Programmer in Pelt, you will play a key role in the design, programming and management of PLC systems and automation within our organisation’s production environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and modifying PLC programmes, primarily using Siemens and TIA Portal.
- Analysing and resolving faults and problems with automation systems.
- Work with the engineering and maintenance team to implement optimisations.
- Training and supporting operators to familiarise them with new automation solutions.
- Documenting technical modifications and developing structured protocols.
- Providing support during the implementation of new machinery.
You will work independently, but also with colleagues and external partners to improve processes and make the production process more efficient and reliable
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / EM Automation and have 3 to 5 years’ experience in process analysis and documentation, with in-depth knowledge of the most commonly used PLC software. (Essential: Siemens TIA Portal, S7 and Lenze Drives; Plus: BNR,) …..
- You possess a mature safety awareness;
- You are able to analyse smoothly and provide appropriate solutions from there.
- You are independent, a plant puller and you are pragmatic.
- You are a team player who is good at consulting and working together with colleagues and stakeholders.
- You have an understanding of project management
- You can express yourself fluently (both verbally and in writing) in Dutch and English
