HSE & Quality Coordinator

Function

As HSE & Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, environmental aspects (HSE), as well as quality management within our organisation in Waregem, WESV, BE. After a thorough introduction, you will be the point of contact for both strategic and operational tasks within these areas. This includes:

• Security: Develop and implement policies, conduct risk assessments, coordinate safety training, and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
• Investigating incidents, reporting findings, and implementing preventive measures.
• Quality: Analysing quality issues, both internal and external, and seeking sustainable solutions.
• Conducting audits, shop floor inspections, and implementing quality management systems according to industry and company standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Actively managing business licences.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams, such as R&D, Purchasing, Production and Aftersales, and report directly to the management.

Profile

For this versatile position, we are looking for a professional who has:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• An attestation Prevention Advisor Level 2 (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.
• Analytical skills, a practical attitude and a hands-on mentality.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and basic knowledge of French.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Pareto, Kaizen and Gemba.
• Experience in quality audits is a plus.
