Dispatcher fixed afternoon

For an established logistics player active in national and international road transport, based in small Brabant, we are looking for an enthusiastic Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational coordination of transport activities and ensure seamless execution of loading and unloading orders. You will work together in a dynamic environment where daily flows of goods are coordinated between companies and distribution points.

Main tasks:

• Daily coordination of pick-up and delivery orders as scheduled.
• Supporting drivers in their operational duties.
• Allocation of loading and unloading sites and monitoring of correct execution.
• Administrative follow-up of shipments from departure to delivery.
• Function as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to efficient and safe operation of transport operations.

Profile

Your profile:

• You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a dispatcher, transport planner or forwarder within a logistics environment.
• You have a good knowledge of digital systems and are familiar with MS Office.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods transport regulations is a plus.
• You have a good geographical knowledge of Belgium.
• You understand the basics of correct loading and transportation.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
• You are stress-resistant, solution-oriented and have strong organisational skills.
