Dispatcher (Late)

Function

• You optimise transport routes and schedule jobs as efficiently and realistically as possible.
• You monitor drivers during their journeys and take swift action in the event of delays, changes or unexpected situations.
• You will be in daily contact with the central planning department in Weiswampach and will coordinate priorities closely.
• You will answer customer enquiries, handle capacity requests and find effective solutions to operational challenges.
• You ensure that agreements are adhered to and monitor the quality of the service provided.
• You are adept at working with various digital systems and ensure that administrative tasks are carried out accurately and kept up to date.

Profile

• You have experience in the transport sector and are familiar with dispatching and transport planning.
• You’re good at setting priorities and making well-considered decisions, even when the pressure is on.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French. Knowledge of English is an added bonus.
• You have excellent communication skills and maintain professional relationships with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• You are energetic, solution-oriented and switch effortlessly between a proactive and reactive approach, depending on the situation.
• You are proficient in MS Office and quickly get to grips with new software applications.
• You feel at home in a digital working environment and are able to keep track of things, even when working with several systems at the same time.
• You can get to the branch in Asse easily.

Offer

• A full-time job of 40 hours a week.
