Customer Service Employee

Function

For our client in Lommel We are looking for a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you manage client files from A to Z and ensure that every logistical assignment is administratively correct and followed up in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities:

• You register, analyse, check, and process incoming orders in the WMS system, so that warehouse and production teams can work with complete and accurate information.
• You meticulously handle the administration surrounding incoming and outgoing goods flows, including the follow-up of discrepancies and missing data.
• Customs, excise, and transport formalities are prepared in a timely manner and followed up, ensuring that the required documents are available and that shipments can proceed smoothly.
• As the first point of contact for clients, you provide clear information on the status of assignments and liaise internally with logistics, production, and other relevant departments.
• Fully completed files are correctly transferred to invoicing, ensuring that performances and delivered services can be processed in a timely manner.
• In addition to daily follow-up, you identify opportunities to improve processes and support colleagues when additional coordination or administrative assistance is needed.

Profile

For the role of Customer Service Employee at our client’s premises in Lommel we are looking for an accurate and structured professional with a bachelor's or graduate degree, preferably with a logistics, administrative, or business economics background. Relevant experience in customer service, logistics administration, or transport can complement this.

Your profile:

• With 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, you are familiar with order processing, file management, and the monitoring of goods flows.
• You communicate fluently and professionally in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French or German is an added value when collaborating with various contacts.
• Accuracy, structure, and digital proficiency help you manage multiple files simultaneously. Experience with a WMS system or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement.
• You maintain overview during busy periods, set priorities, and contribute with a solution-oriented mindset.

Offer

For the position of Customer Service Employee offers our client in Lommel the following package:

• A full-time position of 39 hours per week, supplemented by 6 ADV days, allowing you to take additional time off beyond your statutory leave.
• A gross monthly salary of approximately €2,800 to €3,500, depending on your experience and relevant expertise.
• Meal vouchers of €10 per day worked.
• A start via temporary employment with the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful interim period.
