Where do you spot opportunities and points of attention in a file?

• As an Estimator, you translate technical drawings, bills of quantities and other file information into a clear and well-founded cost price. In doing so, you lay a solid foundation before execution for feasible, high-quality projects.
• You carefully handle the technical and administrative preparation of a wide range of construction files, with attention to risks, feasibility and potential optimisations.
• You prepare enquiries and send them to suitable subcontractors and suppliers. You analyse, compare and assess received quotes in terms of content, price and completeness.
• In consultation with representatives, you actively follow up on enquiries. You gather missing information and ensure that the estimate can be completed on time and accurately.
• You prepare budgets and commercial quotes based on your technical analysis. You make complex information accessible to clients and internal partners.
• Alignment with the lead estimator and the experienced estimating team ensures that you can share insights, test assumptions and arrive at strong solutions together.
• You work on a variety of construction challenges, including general construction, steel construction, utility construction and projects for both public and private clients.
• In a professional, multidisciplinary construction environment, you contribute to a culture in which collaboration, open communication, sustainability and continuous improvement are central.

Profile

Do you like to think beyond the conventional solution, and do you work accurately without losing sight of communication?

• You hold a degree in civil engineering.
• Ideally, you have approximately three years of experience in a similar role.
• You have strong technical insight and an analytical mindset.
• You think creatively and are not afraid to look for out-of-the-box solutions.
• You speak fluent Dutch; knowledge of French and English is an advantage.
• You are proficient in MS Office and quick to get to grips with new estimating software.
• Experience with Tekla is an asset.
• You work independently, accurately and with strong communication skills.
