- Organising project information and bills of quantities within the ERP system, with a clear distinction between in-house work and items to be subcontracted.
- Calculating quantities of materials, labour hours, installation costs, subcontractor costs and additional project costs.
- Requesting, comparing and evaluating prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Checking quotations for completeness, technical compliance, quality, delivery terms and conformity with the specifications.

- Updating prices, technical data sheets and SDSs in the ERP system.
- Discussing quotations, margins, risks and commercial strategy with the Business Unit Manager and the project team.
- Monitoring post-project cost analyses and project feedback to improve future estimates and internal processes.
- Take part in consultation meetings and ensure that information, deadlines and outstanding action points are clearly communicated.
Profile
For this role, our client is seeking an experienced professional with a strong technical background, a good head for figures and proven experience in cost estimation for construction, renovation, interior design or related projects.
Ideally, you should bring the following with you:
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in technical costing, works planning, project preparation, construction engineering or a similar role.
- A technical qualification at upper secondary level, a graduate diploma, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
- Experience with specifications, plans, bills of quantities, material selection and construction methods.
- A good understanding of cost accounting, working hours, margins, risks and price comparisons.
- Experience in bespoke work, interior design projects, renovation work or conservation work is a definite asset.
- Proficiency in working with ERP systems and a good command of Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Strong organisational skills and the discipline to keep a close track of multiple cases, deadlines and quotations.
- Clear oral and written communication in Dutch; knowledge of French or English is an advantage.
- Willingness to carry out site visits during the tendering phase, depending on the projects.
In addition, you work with precision, have an analytical mindset and are not afraid to ask questions when information is missing or a proposed solution does not seem feasible. You are able to prepare decisions independently, but you consult with the relevant colleagues in good time on important technical, financial and commercial considerations.
