Project Calculator

Function

As a Project Calculator, you translate technical information into feasible and well-founded quotations. You work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and have the opportunity to grow step by step towards Project Manager.

• Coordinating tender files from request to submission, with attention to deadlines, completeness, and quality.
• Calculating hours, materials, capacity, and total cost based on plans, technical documents, and supplier quotations.
• Requesting prices from suppliers and subcontractors and comparing proposals.
• Aligning with Project Managers and Project Engineers to draw up quotations with healthy margins and clear agreements.
• Developing technical and commercial parts of quotations, such as product sheets, technical descriptions, prices, and schedules.
• Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues in the office and on site.
• Visiting clients and participating in meetings to gain a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Gradually taking on more responsibility with a view to growing into a Project Manager role.

Profile

You combine a technical background with an analytical and organised approach. You are a strong communicator and have the ambition to develop further within project management.

• Bachelor's in Electromechanics or Master's in Industrial Engineering.
• Some initial experience in calculation, quotations, project preparation, or a similar technical environment is an asset. Relevant internship experience may also suffice.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project is an advantage.
• You work accurately with figures, plans, and pricing information.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can express yourself professionally in French.
• You are organised, curious, and switch smoothly between different files and stakeholders.
