Project Engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer, you combine technical design with project follow-up, ensuring that electrical systems are realised to a high standard and in line with expectations:

• You work on projects within energy infrastructure and industrial electricity, translating client needs into reliable technical solutions.
• You are involved in the entire process from design and technical validation through to production, integration, installation, and testing.
• You design and dimension electrical installations and low-voltage switchgear based on technical specifications, orders, and electrical diagrams.
• You make use of Caneco BT or comparable software for electrical dimensioning and verification.
• You ensure compliance with standards, regulations, safety requirements, and technical quality, and intervene where necessary.
• You plan and organise activities, resources, deadlines, and budgets, and monitor the progress of your projects.
• You coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, draughtsmen, technicians, and technical specialists.
• You regularly align with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that technical agreements are clearly followed up.
• You remain involved from the initial technical choices through to the final working installation at the client's site.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced electrical professional who can combine technical expertise with project responsibility:

• You hold a master's degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical project management, electrical design, and the dimensioning of low-voltage switchgear.
• You have experience with Caneco BT or similar software for electrical dimensioning.
• Knowledge of UPS installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.
• You communicate professionally in Dutch, French and English and are able to convey technical information clearly.
• You are analytical, responsible and always maintain an overview of quality, safety, planning and budget.
