Steel planner

Function

As a work planner, you make sure everything is right before production starts. Specifically, this means:

• You carefully prepare production sheets and check them in detail.
• In case of ambiguities, you coordinate with colleagues from other branches or directly with customers so that everyone works with the same correct info.
• You ensure timely and correct input of production sheets into the internal production application.
• Thanks to your experience, you actively help think about improvements and upgrades to that application, making work more efficient and user-friendly.

In this job, you are a crucial link between design, administration and production.

Profile

What do you need to find your place here?

• A bachelor's degree in structural engineering, or equivalent experience proving your technical acumen.
• You read and understand technical drawings in Autocad without difficulty, as you base daily decisions on those plans.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can get along well in French, necessary to coordinate with various internal and external interlocutors.

In addition:

• You work independently and accurately, as mistakes in preparation can have major consequences later on.
• You are efficient and structured so that deadlines remain achievable.
• You communicate clearly and customer-focused: you dare to ask questions and explain technical matters comprehensibly.
