Technical Support Engineer
Function
After extensive internal training, you will become a key link within the Technical Support Team. You will advise customers, support commercial colleagues with technical expertise and translate project-specific requirements into feasible and efficient solutions.
Through your analytical ability and technical knowledge, you will help customers make the right choices and actively contribute to the further development of products, processes and technical documentation.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and internal departments;
- Advise on the most appropriate technical solutions based on project requirements;
- Preparation of technical calculations and calculation notes;
- Analysing mechanical, thermal, dimensional, acoustic and safety-related requirements;
- Collaborate with the commercial department to best support customers;
- Drafting, managing and updating technical documentation;
- Tracking market developments and new technical trends;
- Thinking along on product improvements and optimisations of internal processes;
- Elaborate internal improvement projects;
- Support the analysis and resolution of technical issues during and after project implementation.
Profile
- You have a master's degree in construction engineering, mechanics, electromechanics or a similar technical field;
- You are customer-oriented and enjoy working with different stakeholders;
- You have strong analytical skills;
- You communicate fluently and professionally;
- You work in a structured and precise manner;
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch;
- Basic knowledge of English and French is desirable;
- Knowledge of German is a plus;
- Experience is not a requirement; motivation, eagerness to learn and technical interest are decisive.
