Vacancy
HVAC Work Planner
Function
- As a Works Preparer HVAC, you fully prepare technical projects so that execution on site can begin smoothly, safely and as agreed.
- Thanks to your accuracy, technical files receive the right structure: plans, diagrams, technical data sheets and other execution documents are available on time and correct in content.
- You analyse tender files with a critical eye and identify missing information, technical risks, possible optimisations and points of attention at an early stage.
- In your role as project preparer, you regularly align with the project manager, site manager, draughtsperson and purchasing department. This ensures everyone is working with the same information.
- You form the practical and technical link between the site and the internal departments, and help to quickly translate questions into workable solutions.
- Contact with design offices, subcontractors and clients is part of your role. You listen to their expectations and translate them into clear technical agreements.
- You report directly to the project manager and help monitor the progress, quality and completeness of the preparation for a variety of HVAC installations.
- You contribute to projects in areas including drinking and wastewater treatment, building technologies and traffic-related installations, each time with a visible impact on the final result.
Profile
- A bachelor's or engineering degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics or a comparable technical field provides a solid foundation.
- You bring approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical work preparation, HVAC, electromechanics, building techniques or a related project environment.
- Analysing technical plans, diagrams and files comes naturally to you. You work easily with MS Office and pick up new systems or working methods without much difficulty.
- Clear communication is important: you convey information correctly to various interlocutors and are not afraid to make decisions when the situation calls for it.
- You combine customer focus and solution-oriented thinking with a critical eye. Even as deadlines approach, you safeguard quality and maintain an overview.
Organisation
Our partner is a multidisciplinary contractor with years of experience in public works and industrial projects. Together with their motivated and enthusiastic staff, they work on their growth ambitions every day.
Offer
- You receive a competitive salary in line with your experience and technical responsibilities, supplemented by meal vouchers, eco-vouchers and a group insurance.
- You enjoy 32 days of annual leave, including 12 ADV days, with leave options that largely align with the school holidays.
- You work from Harelbeke in a project-oriented environment where consultation with colleagues, site management and external partners is central.
- When you start, you will be guided by a mentor, so that you quickly become familiar with the organisation, the people and practical arrangements.
- Through internal and external training, you have the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge and project skills.
- Beyond work, there are moments for connection, such as team-building activities, sports activities and informal team moments.
