Vacancy
Work Preparation Engineer Electrical Engineering
Function
- As Work Preparation Engineer Electrical Engineering you ensure that technical projects are well prepared before execution begins. You contribute to installations for, amongst others, drinking and wastewater treatment, building technologies and traffic engineering applications.
- A complete technical file is your domain: plans, diagrams, technical data sheets and other execution documents are compiled by you in a timely and thorough manner.
- You analyse tender and project files with a critical eye. Gaps, risks and opportunities for technical or practical optimisation are identified early, so that surprises on site are kept to a minimum.
- As a project preparer, you align daily with the site manager, project manager, draughtsperson and purchasing department. In doing so, you translate technical information into clear agreements and workable solutions.
- You form the practical link between the site, internal departments and external partners such as design offices, subcontractors and clients. Clear communication makes all the difference here.
- Direct reporting to the project manager keeps progress, points of attention and decisions clearly organised. You help ensure that execution can begin in accordance with the agreed quality and planning.
- You will join an experienced, multidisciplinary construction environment that delivers infrastructure and construction projects. Collaboration, quality and continuous improvement are everyday working principles there, not empty slogans.
Profile
- A bachelor's or engineering degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics or a comparable technical field provides a solid foundation.
- With 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in works preparation, engineering or technical project follow-up, you understand what is needed to make a file executable. Experience with electrotechnical installations is important.
- You work accurately with technical information, plans and diagrams and are proficient with MS Office. This combination helps you to maintain an overview even when managing multiple files.
- A clear communication style and a customer-oriented attitude make you effective in working with clients, designers, colleagues and delivery partners.
- You think in a solution-oriented way, are not afraid to make decisions and remain quality-conscious as deadlines approach. A critical eye and a willingness to seek out better solutions add extra value to your work.
Organisation
Our partner is a multidisciplinary contractor with years of experience in public works and industrial projects. Together with their motivated and enthusiastic staff, they work on their growth ambitions every day.
Offer
- You receive a competitive salary in line with your experience and technical responsibilities, supplemented by fringe benefits such as meal vouchers, eco-vouchers and a group insurance.
- With 32 days of annual leave, including 12 ADV days, you have plenty of time to recharge. Your leave can moreover align with the school holidays.
- You work in a collegial and informal environment where collaboration is central and where you are in contact with various technical and operational teams.
- When you start, you will be guided by a mentor who will help you find your way in the organisation, the working methods and your new responsibilities.
- Through internal and external training, you continue to develop your technical and professional skills. This allows you to deepen your role as project preparer and, in time, take on new responsibilities.
- Team-building activities, sporting events and informal moments create connection alongside the day-to-day project work.
