Calculator HVAC

Function

• As an HVAC Calculator in Waregem, you calculate the cost price of a wide range of HVAC projects and translate technical information into clear, well-substantiated quotes.
• You analyse specifications, plans and technical specifications, and critically assess materials, performance and execution details, ensuring that every quote is technically and financially sound.
• Based on the project information, you make a realistic estimate of the required working hours and process the various cost elements into a clear bill of quantities.
• Thanks to your knowledge of HVAC materials and applications, you contribute as a cost price calculator to solutions that are technically feasible, high-quality and suited to the client.
• You request material prices, compare supplier information and take into account the specific requirements of each file in order to arrive at an accurate and competitive pricing.
• As a tender calculator, you clearly present your proposals to clients and project stakeholders. You substantiate choices both technically and commercially, and answer questions with expertise.
• You work closely with colleagues from design, project management and execution. In this way you ensure that the transition from quote to realisation runs smoothly and that agreements made are clear.

Profile

• A bachelor's degree in air conditioning or a comparable technical qualification provides a solid foundation for this role.
• You bring approximately 3 to 5 years of experience within HVAC, for example as a calculator, work preparer, project staff member or technical adviser.
• A strong technical insight and thorough knowledge of materials help you to interpret specifications correctly and to critically assess technical solutions.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are important: small deviations in quantities, specifications or working hours can have a significant impact on a quote.
• You work independently and solution-orientedly, whilst also communicating fluently and clearly with clients and colleagues. That combination helps you to make technical information accessible and to move files forward.
