Site Manager

Function

As site manager, you will implement the outlined project lines together with the project manager. You have final responsibility for one or more construction sites and manage one or more teams.

You monitor the short-term planning and ensure that everything on site runs smoothly and in a structured manner. Thanks to your technical knowledge and organisational talent, the works can be carried out efficiently and qualitatively.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinating one or more yards
• Managing and motivating executive teams
• Drafting and monitoring short-term planning
• Ensuring timely presence of materials and equipment on site
• Organising adequate staffing
• Clearly communicating tasks and expectations to teams
• Function as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
• Reporting to the project manager
• Active monitoring of progress through site visits and checks
• Timely adjustments where necessary
• Perform necessary administrative tasks

Profile

• You are organisationally strong and maintain an overview, even in busy periods
• Experience or a degree in a technical field is a plus
• You have technical and material knowledge and understand implementation processes
• You work independently and are flexible in terms of working hours (night and weekend work are not a problem)
• You have a good command of the Dutch language
• You have a driving licence B
• Additional certificates (such as VCA or machine certificates) are an added value
• You are a real team player who thinks with others and shows initiative
• You know how to motivate people and can convey instructions clearly and unambiguously
