Service Engineer
Function
As a Service Engineer, you will be part of a technical team responsible for the start-up, testing and support of automated installations within Europe.
Your duties will include:
- Perform functional testing on new systems before delivery to customers.
- Support installations and start-up of systems at customer sites.
- Provide technical support via phone and e-mail.
- Performing maintenance and service interventions on industrial plants.
- Resolve technical faults and analyse problems on site.
- Provide feedback to production and engineering to improve systems.
- Participate in tests and validations in the technical lab.
- Configuring and programming parts and components.
- Support technical audits and optimisation projects at customer sites.
Profile
To get started as a Service Engineer, we are looking for someone who meets the following requirements.
- You have a technical education within electromechanics, automation or a similar field.
- You have experience with industrial automation and PLC controls, preferably Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200 / S7-1500).
- Knowledge of electrical schematics is necessary.
- Experience with pumps, valves, sensors or pneumatic components is a plus.
- You are analytical, solution-oriented and customer-focused.
- You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
