Service Engineer

Function

As a Service Engineer, you will be part of a technical team responsible for the start-up, testing and support of automated installations within Europe.

Your duties will include:

• Perform functional testing on new systems before delivery to customers.
• Support installations and start-up of systems at customer sites.
• Provide technical support via phone and e-mail.
• Performing maintenance and service interventions on industrial plants.
• Resolve technical faults and analyse problems on site.
• Provide feedback to production and engineering to improve systems.
• Participate in tests and validations in the technical lab.
• Configuring and programming parts and components.
• Support technical audits and optimisation projects at customer sites.

Profile

To get started as a Service Engineer, we are looking for someone who meets the following requirements.

• You have a technical education within electromechanics, automation or a similar field.
• You have experience with industrial automation and PLC controls, preferably Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200 / S7-1500).
• Knowledge of electrical schematics is necessary.
• Experience with pumps, valves, sensors or pneumatic components is a plus.
• You are analytical, solution-oriented and customer-focused.
• You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
• You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
