Service Engineer
Function
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing repairs and interventions at customers' premises, related to various detection systems such as fire, intrusion and access control.
- Starting and commissioning new facilities.
- Limited performance of maintenance work.
- Working from home and travelling to various B2B clients, mainly warehouses, shopping malls, production halls and larger buildings.
- A permanent planner arranges all practical appointments within an agreed region.
- Vary and vary your work with different clients.
- Safety is paramount, with you watching over your own safety as well as that of your colleagues.
- Sporadically provide training to other technicians and accurately complete service reports.
- Fluent communication with the person in charge of planning and project management.
Profile
What do we expect from you?
- A degree at A2 or Bachelor level with knowledge of electricity and electronics.
- Experience installing and maintaining fire detection and/or intrusion systems.
- A driving licence B.
- A VCA certificate and certificate for burglary, or willingness to undergo training for this.
- You are customer-oriented and quality-conscious and have analytical skills.
- Willingness to work on-call shifts in a rotation system (approximately once every 8 weeks).
- You put customer satisfaction first and monitor the quality of your work.
- Good oral and written skills in Dutch, basic knowledge of French is a plus.
- Besides your technical skills, you are practical, solution-oriented, reliable and always give your best.

Our client is active in tailor-made solutions for fire safety and ensuring a pleasant indoor climate in buildings. They work as a project organisation commissioned by contractors, architects and engineering offices. They aim to provide their customers with a one-stop-shop experience from design to maintenance. They further belong to a large group and are within their Business Unit with around 160 employees. To strengthen the team, they are currently looking for a Service Engineer Building Security to join their team.
