Service Engineer

Function

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

  • Maintenance, repair and calibration of technical installations at customers' premises, both within industry and retail and both at home and abroad (Europe).
  • Your duties will include preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration and gas systems.
  • You will start working independently to carry out failure analysis after internal training.
  • Perform internal maintenance and repairs.
  • Realising technical installations within engineering projects.
  • Recovery of refrigerants and SF6 for which training is provided.
  • You will ensure that all work is accurately reported and optimised.

Profile

To be considered for this versatile position, we ask:

  • An undergraduate, graduate or A2 degree in electromechanics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certificates such as VCA-VOL, BA4/BA5, forklift certificate and aerial work platform.
  • Ideally a refrigeration certificate (training can be offered).
  • Driving Licence B.
  • Command of Dutch (very good) and you can make yourself understood in English for foreign assignments. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience of installations and materials (refrigerant gases, refrigerants, storage and handling systems).
  • Knowledge Siemens Step 7 and fault finding on (pressure) sensors.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Germany). The ratio of work on site and with customers is approximately 50/50.
