Function

As Purchaser At our leading client in Hasselt, you will work closely with various specialist departments to ensure that procurement processes run smoothly and effectively. You will play a key role within the team and contribute to innovative construction and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, including selecting suppliers, negotiating contract terms and ensuring quality and sustainability. In addition, you will actively contribute to the implementation of sustainability principles and help shape a forward-looking approach to business.

Profile

Requirements and expectations:

• You have a relevant degree in a technical, engineering or economics-related field.
• Experience in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of supplier management and an understanding of procurement processes.
• A results-oriented mindset with an eye for quality and sustainability.
• An affinity for innovation and entrepreneurship within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Dutch is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
