Function

How do you make a complex façade project deliverable?

• As Façade Project Engineer, you translate complex façade concepts into executable technical details that actually work on site.
• The preparation combines technical elaboration with financial and administrative follow-up, so that the project moves forward efficiently and profitably.
• In consultation with the architect, the engineering consultancy and the internal design department, you review designs, elaborate details further and help determine execution methods.
• Together with the project manager, you build a feasible schedule and closely monitor progress, bottlenecks and necessary adjustments.
• You support quality controls and keep the site administration carefully up to date, including deviations, complaints, inspections and other mandatory records.
• Safety has a concrete place in your work: you align task risk analyses with the prevention adviser, organise inspections of equipment and participate in monthly safety rounds.
• Based in the site hut in Leuven, you remain close to the execution, enabling you to quickly test technical decisions against day-to-day reality and see immediate results.

Profile

Are you the technical link that drives a project forward?

• A construction-related qualification or an equivalent technical background helps you to readily understand façade details, drawings and execution methods.
• You preferably bring a first experience with complex façades, technical work preparation or structural project supervision. A strong internship or entry-level background is also open for discussion within an experience level of 0 to 3 years.
• Accuracy is important: you keep technical documents, planning schedules, inspections and administrative records organised and reliable.
• You communicate clearly with various stakeholders, as you constantly liaise between architect, engineering consultancy, design department, project manager, prevention adviser and site partners.
• A practical and inquisitive mindset helps you not only to identify technical problems, but also to help find safe, high-quality and feasible solutions.
