Function

How do you make work preparation stronger?

• As a Project Engineer, you support the project manager in the technical, financial and administrative preparation of construction projects on site.
• You help shape the project planning: you develop actions, monitor progress and flag deviations or risks in a timely manner.
• You align the design work with the relevant design department and verify whether designs are practically feasible.
• In consultation with project management, suppliers and subcontractors, you develop clear working methods that allow the site to progress efficiently.
• You translate safety into practice by helping to organise task risk analyses, following up on mandatory inspections of equipment and regularly carrying out safety walk-throughs.
• You support quality controls and keep project records meticulously, including non-conformities, complaints, inspections and other relevant site documents.
• From the site in Brussels, you switch between technology, planning, administration and execution. In this way, you grow into an important link between the project manager and the site team.

Profile

Are you curious about what lies behind a successful construction site and do you like to take initiative to improve processes?

• You already hold a Bachelor's degree in construction or a Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• You have a technical interest in construction projects and are keen to apply your knowledge in a working environment close to the execution.
• A first professional experience or internship within construction, work preparation, project follow-up or a comparable technical context is welcome, but above all your willingness to learn and motivation to grow are what count.
• You handle schedules, technical documents, inspections and administrative follow-up with precision, because a well-organised site stands or falls on reliable information.
• You communicate clearly with project managers, design departments, suppliers and subcontractors and enjoy working together on practical solutions.
• A site engineer who takes initiative, acts with safety awareness and is not afraid to ask questions, will be given the space here to take on more responsibility step by step.
