Project manager

Function

As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for one or more construction sites and manage these projects in line with the set objectives.

Your duties will include:

• Drawing up and adhering to Quality, Environment and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plans.
• Coordinating the implementation phase and monitoring compliance with all the objectives set.
• Carry out Health, Safety and Environment inspections at least twice a year.
• Reporting to senior management and managing all necessary project documentation.
• Managing and maintaining commercial and operational relationships with stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and local authority and environmental agencies.
• Monitoring both project deadlines and budgetary guidelines to ensure a successful project outcome.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong technical background and management skills.

• A degree in civil engineering or industrial engineering (construction).
• At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in a similar role within the construction sector.
• A strong strategic vision and a commercial mindset.
• The ability to develop and maintain high-level relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness.
• Experience as a negotiator and strong leadership skills.
• A good command of Dutch. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
