Function

Your range of tasks:

  • As Assistant Project Manager Piping Technologies, you support the project manager in the preparation, planning and monitoring of specialised piping and renovation works in East Flanders.
  • Translating the work organisation into a feasible planning schedule, clear division of tasks and correct material supply, so that teams can work efficiently and safely.
  • Following up on specifications, budgets, material lists and site progress; you flag deviations in a timely manner and contribute to finding an appropriate solution.
  • Practically coordinating teams and subcontractors, clarifying agreements and ensuring that execution aligns with the technical and quality expectations.
  • Participating in site meetings, providing clear updates on progress and monitoring action points until they have been completed.
  • By being regularly present on site, you connect the project manager, executing teams and other involved parties with one another.
  • As a project coordinator, you are given the space to build up experience in piping technologies and to take on increasing responsibility step by step within challenging renovation and restoration projects.

Profile

Your profile looks like this:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or construction, or an equivalent technical background related to infrastructure, construction or piping technologies.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a construction, technical or site-oriented environment, preferably involving planning, execution or project follow-up.
  • You are able to set priorities, follow up on agreements and translate technical or organisational information into clear actions.
  • Communication and coaching skills are important because you align daily with teams, colleagues and partners, thereby contributing to collaboration and progress.
  • Initiative, a sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented attitude; you do not wait when you notice a risk, bottleneck or opportunity for improvement.
  • A good command of Dutch is required for safe and clear collaboration; French is an additional asset.

  • A laptop, smartphone and associated subscriptions to organise planning, communication and project follow-up efficiently.
  • Hospitalisation insurance and a group insurance policy for additional protection and financial security.
  • Profit sharing after one year, supplemented by a thirteenth month and a flex plan allowing you to tailor certain benefits to your personal situation.
  • A targeted offering of internal and external training through which you further develop your technical knowledge, leadership skills and project experience.
  • A people-oriented working environment within a specialised organisation that deliberately builds expertise in-house and invests in sustainable growth.
  • A collegial collaboration with experienced professionals, attention to a healthy working culture and practical facilities such as fresh soup, bread and fruit at lunchtime and access to a fitness room.
