Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire process of various projects within warehouse automation and material handling.

• You work from sales to aftercare, keeping structure and overview.
• You will lead up to ten simultaneous projects, ranging in budgets from €100,000 to €1 million.
• Combining technical expertise with project management, you will coordinate a team of six employees, including internal technicians and suppliers, subcontractors,...
• You will be responsible for maintaining deadlines, monitoring budgets and ensuring quality and safety.
• Moreover, you will work from the Kruibeke office as well as at clients' premises, with a flexible distribution of office and home working days.

Profile

To succeed in this role you will possess:

• A technical bachelor's or master's degree (e.g. industrial engineer, electromechanics or automation) or equivalent experience.
• An inquisitive, communicative and flexible attitude.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D and interest in automation (knowledge of PLC logic).
• You are hands-on: from physically checking deliveries, determining starting points of assembly with the site manager to carrying out occasional, minor adjustments.
• Previous experience in project management is a plus.
• Fluent command of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly in the Benelux (mainly Flanders and the Netherlands) and occasionally Europe.

Organisation

Our client combines hardware (shelving, lifts, vending machines), software (WMS) and service (installation and maintenance) into integrated, customer-oriented solutions for warehouse and workshop management. They optimise storage areas, increase work efficiency, reduce errors and automate inventory processes.

They are based in Melsele and active in the Benelux region, with extensive experience in both traditional and automated warehouse set-ups. To strengthen the project management team, they are currently looking for a project manager who will mainly focus on material handling projects.
