Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager, you will find yourself in a dynamic environment with a lot of variety in energy projects such as heat grids, CHPs, steam, biogas and biomass plants.

Below is a sample of your duties:

• First point of contact for the customer: you provide first-line technical advice on the project. Determining the project scope based on the project idea.
• Perform feasibility studies, principle diagrams and set-up drawings.
• Detail engineering including dimensioning and calculations in the study phase.
• Identify and coordinate suppliers and contractors.
• Project follow-up on site including installation works, delivery and start-up supervision
• Ancillary administration including technical documentation and related.

Profile

To be successful in this role, we ask:

• An engineering degree (civil or industrial) within electromechanics or related field.
• Ideally a first work experience, but this is not a must.
• Analytical and eager to learn so that you become an expert in the subject matter.
• Passionate about renewable energy.
• Working independently does not scare you off there are, of course, plenty of consultation moments.
• You enjoy working on several projects at once.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch, with adequate knowledge of English.

Organisation

Our client operates within renewable energy and more specifically within all forms of energy production -and distribution. They implement renewable energy production at various customers both in the private sector and at public authorities. They distinguish themselves by operating independently, which means they are not tied to technologies or suppliers. Moreover, they can already present a large number of exciting projects from their many years of experience. To support the team, they are currently looking for a project manager with a passion for renewable energy.
