Production teamlead alternating shifts

Function

As Teamleader Production at our innovative packaging company in Halle, you play a crucial role in the operational functioning of the production department. You will lead a team of around 20-25 operators within a 3-shift system, help them grow and ensure optimal production of high-quality corrugated packaging.

You are a versatile leader who organises, coordinates and optimises the daily production process, while keeping an eye on safety, quality and innovation.

Within this family-run company, you will work with other team leaders and report directly to the production director.

Profile

For this challenging position, we are looking for a results-oriented leader with a passion for production and people. To excel in this role, you will bring the following:

• A diploma at secondary school level or higher (a bachelor's degree is a plus).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Willingness to work a changing schedule (early-, late- and daytime hours).
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
• A hands-on mentality with commitment in the workplace.
• Stress resilience and solution orientation to challenges.
• Affinity with lean management, 5S methodology or other continuous improvement processes.
• Good command of Dutch and French (English is a plus).
