Production manager 2 shifts

Function

For the vacancy of Production Manager 2 shifts, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for preparing and updating the planning for 15 operators
• Ensuring clear shift handover in collaboration with the team manager and assistant team coordinators
• Monitor daily production flow and proactively intervene in case of deviations
• In addition to proper onboarding, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring employees on the shop floor
• You hold regular discussions with your team and remind them of safety standards
• You will switch each week between the early (5h50-14h) and late shift (13h50-22h, Friday from 11h50-20h)

Profile

For the vacancy of Production Manager 2 shifts at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competences:

• You have already had your first positive experience as a manager in a production environment
• You have a hands-on approach
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch
• You can work well with a WMS system
• You are willing to work 2 shifts and willing to jump in very exceptionally on Saturdays

Organisation

Our client is a strong player within their sector and now employs 250 people at their site in Sint-Niklaas. Despite the growth, you can still feel the family atmosphere and there are opportunities for internal growth. Apart from some robots, at least 90% of the production is still done manually given the detail work.

For the vacancy of Production Manager 2 shifts at our client, you can count on the following:

• Gross monthly salary between €3500 and €4800 including 10% shift premium.
