Warehouse Supervisor

Function

• Managing, inspiring and coaching your team
• Ensure the smooth running of operations, through structure and standardisation.
• Daily efforts to achieve our KPIs together with the team.
• Be able to communicate clearly, constructively and connectively with all stakeholders such as import and export departments, the customers, support departments etc.
• Continuous improvement mindset and striving to do better every day than yesterday.
• You also act as Back-up Airfreight Security Manager and help support security on the shop floor (HSSEQ knowledge)

Profile

• Bachelor thinking level, preferably with a background in logistics or equivalent work experience in an air cargo warehouse
• At least 5 years' work experience in a similar role
• A natural and clear way of communicating, used to presenting in front of large groups
• Excellent people management skills and strong in coaching
• Good command of Dutch, French and English, both orally and in writing
• In possession of a valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate
• Knowledge of the TMS and WMS system Cargowise is an asset
• Experience and knowledge of Dangerous Goods (IATA/ADR) and Pharma (GDP) are an added advantage
