Production Manager

Function

Are you a driven leader and ready to take production processes to the next level? As Production Manager, you will be part of a growing company specialising in the design, production and installation of high-quality fire-resistant gates and doors. This position offers you the unique opportunity to combine strategic planning with a hands-on approach to make a real impact. You will report directly to the COO and currently manage a team of 17 employees, with opportunities for expansion.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and optimising production processes, warehouse management and waste sorting.
• Motivate, supervise and organise toolbox meetings for the production team.
• Prepare and follow up production schedules in collaboration with other departments.
• Monitoring quality standards, safety regulations and efficiency.
• Compliance with certification standards (such as FPC and CE marking).
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing processes, including digitisation and ERP systems.
• Preparing data for post-calculation and dashboard analysis.
• Scaling up production capacity and efficiency, partly in preparation for the move to a new site.

Profile

Your profile:

• A degree in Industrial Engineering Electromechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of change management and logistics processes.
• Experience in design, improvement projects and business process automation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, quality management and safety standards.
• Previous experience in FPC and CE certification.
• Multilingualism: Dutch and English required, Polish is a great asset.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A hands-on working attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Stress-resistant, with a focus on team motivation and structure.

Our client is a financially sound and stable company that is continuing to grow. They are active in the design, production and installation of high-quality fire-resistant gates and doors. Currently, they have about 100 employees of their own.

and have since existed for more than 25 years. To continue supporting their growth, they are currently looking for a Production Manager to further professionalise production.
