Function

Are you passionate about safety and prevention and want to contribute to a pleasant and safe working environment? As Prevention Advisor, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety measures.

• You carry out risk analyses, investigate occupational accidents and develop preventive measures.
• You give advice in connection with workplace organisation, workstation, environmental factors, work equipment,...
• Preparation of monthly reports, annual reports, the global prevention plan, submission reports.
• Elaborating toolboxes, training employees in safety and working conditions.
• Elaborate internal emergency procedures and evacuations and organise first aid.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Hold at least a Level 2 Prevention Advisor diploma.
• Has at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a technical environment ideally a manufacturing environment.
• Has knowledge of current legislation around safety and prevention.
• Is solution-oriented and decisive.
• Is a true team player and strives to continuously improve working practices.
• Looking for employment on a 3/5th basis.

Organisation

Our client is active in the design and manufacture of road safety systems with a focus on road safety. They are best known for their collision absorbers. The company is now nearly 50 years old and operates worldwide through distributors. They are currently looking for a part-time level 2 prevention consultant to strengthen the team.
