Logistics planning manager

Function

For the vacancy of logistics planning manager, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You are responsible for the transport planning of 10 (soon to be 22) in-house drivers from terminal or port to customer for the Benelux, France and Germany regions
• You follow up on references, chassis, terminal appointments and days off
• You liaise with your drivers, customers, shipping lines and terminals to follow up on your runs
• You decide, in consultation with the managing director, when subcontractors need to be called upon
• You monitor from your office whether the depot or loading and unloading is proceeding correctly
• You work from Monday to Friday during daytime hours. You preferably work from 9am to 6pm, but this is open to discussion

Profile

For the vacancy of logistics planning manager, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You already have several years of experience as a transport planner; experience with (sea) containers is a major advantage
• You are able to express yourself professionally in Dutch, French and English
• You are resilient under pressure and can maintain a clear overview of your planning
• You are able to work autonomously and can handle responsibility well
