Permanent night-shift transport planner

Function

For the vacancy of a permanent night-shift Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Planning and allocating daily line haul services to European destinations at the customers’ request
• Selecting suitable and approved carriers on the basis of existing rates or ad hoc agreements
• Monitoring deliveries with customers and drivers and passing on the necessary information to customer service
• Recording all process steps in the system
• You will work the regular night shift, alternating between 9 pm–5 am and 10 pm–6 am from week to week

Profile

For the vacancy for a Permanent Night Transport Planner, you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You’ve had your first positive experience in transport planning
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of French
• You are able to cope well with stress and have strong communication skills
• You are good with a computer
• You are willing to work a fixed night shift rota

• Market-based gross salary based on experience
• 7.5% shift allowance up to 10.00 pm and, from 10.00 pm onwards, a 15% night allowance
